Be the Boss of Your Bladder.

ELITONE® URGE brings calm to your overactive bladder.

ELITONE URGE is a low-risk alternative to traditional treatments. It is easy, external, and effective working directly on primary nerves, making it the obvious choice for many women.

Overactive Bladder

If you feel a sudden uncontrolled urge to urinate and you can’t quite make it to the bathroom in time, that is called overactive bladder (OAB), also known as urge incontinence.

Gain Calm

Your nerves are mistakenly telling your bladder muscles to contract, even when it isn’t full. Your bladder needs to calm down. ELITONE URGE can help.

Worry Less

You’ll worry less knowing that urgencies are under control, and you aren’t chained to the toilet. All for less than you spend on pads each year.

ELITONE falls under the description “non-implantable pelvic floor electrical stimulator” and the HCPCS/DME Code “E0740”. See the “Detailed Written Order” that your physician can use. Download info for your doctor by clicking this button:

Private Insurance

Many private insurers provide coverage for devices like ELITONE. Every insurer has different coverage policies and requirements. Ask your insurance provider if they cover it (use the description above) and what their pre-requirements may be (see examples under Medicare section).

Medicare

ELITONE has approval for nationwide Medicare coverage and is considered Durable Medical Equipment (DME), which must be obtained from a licensed DME provider. The DME provider will rent an ELITONE device (E0740) to you on a monthly basis (typically 13 months, after which it is owned), and you will be responsible for any out-of-pocket cost. You will need:

  • A prescription for ELITONE from a treating physician (see Detailed Written Order), including a statement of Medical Necessity.
  • Physician documentation (e.g., chart notes) showing that you tried and failed an ordered 4-week pelvic floor muscle exercise program.
  • (Preferred) Chart notes describing that neuromuscular electrical stimulation is needed prior to advancing to more invasive surgical or implantable treatments.

Healthcare Savings Accounts (HSA) / Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

ELITONE is eligible for payment using HSA and FSA accounts. At checkout, select the SIKA FSA-verified payment method. Since SIKA has preapproved ELITONE as an allowable HSA/FSA purchase, no receipts or additional paperwork is necessary. Alternatively, get reimbursed directly from your HSA/FSA provider with a Letter.

For more information see: elitone.com/reimbursement

You have 60 days from the date of purchase to return ELITONE if it is not helping. Return it for a full refund.

Easy. Effective. External.

ELITONE URGE has you covered with an easy, effective treatment you can use anytime. Use ELITONE 20 minutes per day, 5 times per week. Most women see excellent results after just 6 weeks of use. After that, many women reduce treatments to a few times per month or stop completely.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to shave before using ELITONE?2023-10-12T18:35:26-04:00

The gel used in the GelPads can be applied over hair and will not pull out hair when removed. However, there does need to be good skin contact. About half the women in our clinical study said they shaved or trimmed hair for better results.

Do I need to keep using ELITONE forever?2023-10-12T18:33:44-04:00

Treatment outcomes vary by individual. Most women see a continued reduction in leaks after the initial 6-week therapy. We recommend periodic follow-up treatment sessions. For some women, this may be 3–4 sessions after a few months. For others, this may be a weekly maintenance session.

How does the ELITONE® URGE device work?2023-10-12T18:32:11-04:00

ELITONE URGE is expertly engineered to deliver a small electric signal to the muscles and nerves of the pelvic floor. The precise makeup of this signal is the key to effectivity and comfort.

ELITONE URGE delivers a 10Hz signal that calms overactive nerves that may be firing incorrectly. It also utilizes pre-modulation technology to allow the signal to pass comfortably through the skin and reach the deeper, targeted tissues.

Can I use ELITONE® URGE?2023-10-12T17:41:58-04:00

If you have leaks caused by a sudden, uncontrollable urge to urinate (overactive bladder leaks), then ELITONE URGE may be for you.

ELITONE is FDA-cleared for over-the-counter use. No prescription is required.

What do the clinical studies say about using ELITONE® URGE?2023-10-12T18:02:36-04:00

ELITONE URGE is an FDA-cleared medical device that has been scientifically evaluated in several clinical studies.

  • 95% of study participants achieved fewer leaks after just 6 weeks.
  • They recorded a 70% reduction in leaks.
  • They improved on all 22 points of the standard Incontinence Quality-of-Life assessment.
Can you tell me more about the GelPads that come with the ELITONE® device?2023-10-12T17:26:35-04:00

The flexible and patented shape allows for movement while getting treatment. GelPads are reusable at least 3 times, or until they lose adhesion. GelPads are gentle on the skin, and can go over some hair (does not pull hair) but need skin contact. One size fits all.

After 6 weeks most women reduce how often they use ELITONE. Additional GelPads for this “maintenance” mode are available in packs of 5 for $28. We’ll even check in on you to see if you need more.

Is there more than one type of incontinence (and ELITONE® to deal with them)?2023-10-13T16:45:20-04:00

Yes! ELITONE comes in two versions, one to treat stress incontinence and one to treat leaks from overactive bladder (OAB). If you experience a sudden, uncontrollable urge to urinate, but don’t leak when you cough, sneeze, or exercise, ELITONE URGE may be best for you.

ELITONE or ELITONE URGE: Which Device Is Right For You?

What are the pros and cons of using ELITONE® over having surgery?2023-10-12T17:27:27-04:00

Vaginal mesh surgery (i.e., sling surgery) is implanted through the vaginal wall to provide support. Unfortunately, serious complications are common with these procedures, and many countries have banned them. Complications typically require surgical removal. ELITONE is a conservative, low-risk, highly effective solution for treating incontinence.  It’s also pain-free and costs thousands less than surgery.

What is the difference between vaginal trainers and E-stim devices?2023-10-12T17:27:28-04:00

Pelvic floor trainers coach you on how to do Kegels, but you still do the work, and most are not approved for treating incontinence. Vaginal electrical stimulation devices can treat incontinence.

Unfortunately, both these vaginal probes require finding dedicated time and privacy and can be uncomfortable with the risk of infection. ELITONE is completely external, making it safe, clean, and easy.

How does ELITONE® help with doing Kegels?2023-10-12T17:27:28-04:00

Kegels exercises are a great way to maintain your pelvic floor health, but 1/4 of women do them incorrectly, and the rest insufficiently. ELITONE does 100 Kegels each session, and it does them longer and stronger than you can, while you focus on other things.

What will happen if I do nothing about my incontinence?2023-10-12T17:27:29-04:00

Doing nothing is expensive. Pads can really add up. If you treat your leaks before they are severe, you’ll save money (and mess and stress) in the long run.
